Many have speculated that the United Nations is the organization that will be used to bring about the fruition of world government. Some prophecy teachers believe that the U.N. is planning an imminent takeover of various governments, or even that some countries on Planet Earth have already lost their sovereignty and that the United Nations is operating a secret shadow world government.

There has been much inaccurate or erroneous information that has circulated in regard to the U.N., although the premise that the United Nations will bring about world government is one that many prophecy teachers will agree upon.

Is there a United Nations conspiracy? We do not know. Will the U.N. be used to create a world government, as Bible prophecy predicts?
