If
Scriptural continuity is our quest, then we should seek to be in
full compliance with the Bible, no matter what Christian or Jewish
"traditions," or societal obstacles stand in our way. Through the advent of
many Believers embracing the Hebraic heritage of our faith, many
questions arise. Did the Torah or Law of Moses truly get "nailed to
the cross"? Did God change His mind about the Biblical
dietary requirements, His appointed times, and those things which
make His people set-apart from the world? How are we to understand
the significance of these things?
In an effort to be Biblically sound, we examine many of
modern Christianity's traditions in light of the practices of the
first Believers in the Messiah.
